You missed the big game, but your friend left you a note about it in your locker. Write the preterite form of each verb in parentheses to complete the note.
_________(ser) un partido de futbol Americano buenisimo. Cuando el entrenador __________(decir) que nuestro equipo ________(ganar), los animadores _________ (ponerse) a gritar. Todo _________ (estar) increible.
Thanks soo much!
trust me, i have way more to it than this, i just really don’t understand these parts. and can’t find any help on the internet.
The first one translates to I have a swollen wrist. And you would then use ponerse to mean I put ice on it.
The second one is I’m cold. Then use quitarse which means to remove, do not remove shoes. Its cold
For the second part you just need to know the preterite endings and the irregulars
the Ar verb endings are
é
aste
ó
amos
asteis
aron
Er/ir are
í
iste
ió
imos
isteis
ieron
but watch our for irregulars, like ser is fue. Also Estar changes in the preterite to estuv, and decir uses dij
Fue, dije, gano(with an accent on the o), se pusieron, estuvo
