Is this a good walking shoe?
My sister said she’s heard a lot about shoes from merrell… do you think any of these would be a good walking shoe? I might end up walking 5+ miles every day when I’m on vacation, so I really need a good pair!

Where are you going on vacation where you only walk 5 miles? lol.
Me and my fiance went on vacation to Paris and she wore her sperry’s and regrets every moment of it. When we came back to the states, we went shopping for walking shoes for her. She said the only problem about merrell shoes is they are not very breathable and they felt sorta cramped, like they needed a ton of break-in time. After we spoke to a sales rep, they told us exactly that, they need several miles of hard break in time, but they would be wonderful for you. So, We bought them for her, knowing we would be heading for Rome. She wore them every day for 3 weeks, walking her dog, going to the mall, grocery shopping, etc. After 3 weeks we ended up taking them back because she had horrible blisters and some light bruising. We then ran to the Dick’s sporting goods and bought a pair of Nike Shox. She LOVES them. In fact, she never wears tennis shoes; only rainbows, heels and her sperry’s but the girl never takes these darn shox off!! When we went to rome there was nothing but smiles and nice feet!
While this may not be the case with everyone, Ashleigh recommends you avoid the merrell’s and get some Nike’s.
