I am So Ecstatic I Found Costumes for Kids That I Could Actually Afford
My kids were crushed when they found out I couldn’t buy new costumes for Halloween this year and they’d have to resort to making their own, or wearing the old ones. I would have loved to go out and buy them new kids costumes, but I just didn’t have the money. I didn’t want to ask my parents for help just to buy halloween costumes. I’m a single mom with three kids and I have a hard enough time buying shoes and school clothes, and kids halloween costumes isn’t at the top of the list. I really felt bad for the kids, but what could I do. When you don’t have it, you just don’t have it. They just couldn’t grasp the fact that I couldn’t afford new costumes this time.
While talking with the neighbor next door, I found out that she had just purchased brand new child costumes for her kids. I couldn’t understand how she could afford them when she was in the same boat I was. That’s when she let me know about an online kids halloween costume store that has it all. Naturally I asked for the link. I couldn’t believe all the neat childrens costume choices they had available. But, most of all I couldn’t believe the low prices. There were cartoon characters, race car icons and more.

I couldn’t wait to tell my children that they can get new costumes this year. I’m so glad this turned out well, since the kids are having a party at school and everyone else will be dressed up in cool costumes. Now they’ll have a new kids halloween costume for their parties. The kids started jumping up and down when I told them they could have their choice of costumes this year. The only problem they seemed to have now was trying to decide on which one. My oldest son was trying to make up his mind between Batman and a ninja master. My second born had to decide between Tony Stewart the Nascar driver or a heroic fireman. My beautiful little girl wants to be a banana, even though mommy opted for a fairy princess. When she saw the banana costume that was that. She’s the only one of the three that is positive on what she wants to wear. I’m just grateful that I was told about this super savings store that has every imaginable costume that you could think of for kids.
Getting these costumes at such a low price really helped my bank account. It definitely put a smile on three little faces. I couldn’t believe all the cool halloween accessories they had to select from too. I looked at several masks and wigs that could be used for many of the costume ideas they carry. There are also decorations for your house and yard that were pretty cool. The kids begged me to buy some of the cool decorations they had for our house. So, I bought a door cover, some window clings and little bats and spiders. Finally after going over and over the selections, the kids made their final decision on the costume situation. My oldest decided on the batman costume. Son number two decided to be a pirate. But, my sweet little princess would choose nothing but the banana costume.
I can’t believe how quickly our childs costumes arrived after placing the order. The children were so anxious to model them for me. The boys looked so cool in their costumes. I have to say, that the banana costume was just adorable.

What is a good cheap idea for a tin man (for a girl) halloween costume?
for halloween I am going to be the tin man. I am a 13 year old girl and would like a very cheap costume. I already plan on using metallic silver fabric spray to spray a white t-shirt and metallic leggings. I also plan on using a $5.99 tin man hat i found online. Any ideas for my face and shoes? Or something that would show I am the tin man… lol like writing or something. Thank you for your help!
My friends and I were the 4 characters from the Wizard of Oz a couple years ago. Here’s what my friend who was the tin man did:
-wore silver flats
-used marker to draw on her face, like hinges around her mouth
-painted her face silver
-carried a small silver watering can
-wore a silver jacket and silver metallic leggings
